Old El Dorado High School
Contributed Photo Flashback reveal The building pictured was part of a campus that has gone by several names and served countless students over the years. In 1925, it was known as Donald MacQueen High School, but the name was changed the next year to El Dorado High School, as it continued to be known until 1963.
Since that date, the campus has been known as Rogers Junior High School, Rogers Middle School, Southern State College-El Dorado Branch, Southern Arkansas University-El Dorado Branch, and South Arkansas Community College. The portion of the building pictured here was torn down in the late 1980s after a hard fought battle to save the structure.
